WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2015 by three veterans of the video game industry, Breaking Walls is an independent game studio with a clear purpose: to disrupt the norm, rebuild what is possible, and rethink how games move us.

At Breaking Walls, technology is not just a tool. It is a creative engine. We harness cutting-edge systems to reinvent how stories are told and how emotion is experienced through gameplay.

Our team brings decades of experience from AAA franchises like Assassin’s Creed, Prince of Persia, and Far Cry. In 2021, we launched our debut title AWAY: The Survival Series, a nature-inspired adventure that reimagined the documentary format through an interactive lens.

We are now building on that foundation with a diverse lineup of projects, including Venus: The Last Ascent, a physics-based construction adventure set in a sci-fi universe. Through BW Labs, our experimental R&D initiative, we are also developing new prototypes, technologies, and gameplay models that push the boundaries of design, simulation, and storytelling.

From deeply emotional experiences to playful systemic sandboxes, we are shaping the future of interactive entertainment one breakthrough at a time.
